Patient Education

Education is an important component in diabetes management. At the center, we empower you with the tools to better manage your diabetes. As with any chronic disease, diabetes affects individuals differently and no one knows your body better than you do. Whether you’re looking for classes on nutrition, exercise, or even just a support group, the center’s resources are available to help you live healthier with diabetes.

Diabetes Classes
The center offers classes for patient with diabetes, their family and care givers.

Diabetes Support Group
Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the second floor staff lounge at Gottschalk Plaza.

You do not have to be a center patient to attend the Support Group. Bring a friend!
